TL; DR
- The new marketing images show the Pixel Buds A-Series in the new sky blue color.
- The Sky Blue color is supposed to match the Pixel 7a’s arctic blue.
Google I/O is coming next week and we’ll be hearing all about the Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, and more. Among the slate of Google products at the event, we should also get our first official look at the new colorway for the Pixel Buds A-Series series. But it looks like a leaker has beat Google.
Today, Roland Quandt from WinFuture It has shared some marketing images of its rumored blue Pixel Buds A-Series. This pale blue colored track is believed to be called “Sky Blue” and is meant to match the Pixel 7a’s arctic blue.
If you feel like you’re experiencing deja vu, you won’t be far away. A leak, provided by Kuba Wojciechowski, at the beginning of March, gave us our first look at the color. However, these displays give us a high quality view of the shoots and from different angles.
Outside of the colour, there’s nothing particularly new about these earbuds. They are the same A-series buds as those launched in 2021. They are also believed to have the same $99 price tag.
In our review, the Pixel Buds A-Series impressed us in several ways. This includes touch controls, spatial audio, and the fact that they sit more comfortably in the ear than the Pixel Buds Pro. However, it wasn’t great at blocking out noise, lacked bass, and didn’t have a transparency mode. Overall, we gave Google’s entry-level buds four stars out of five for their simplicity and ease of use.
