The Pixel Buds Pro and A-Series are tipped to rock a new blue path alongside the Pixel 7a

With Google I/O 2023 just around the corner, we’re expecting some interesting new products from the company, including some new software, artificial intelligence, and a lot of new hardware. While we’re expecting new phones to launch, new marketing images for the Google Pixel Buds Series A suggest that the buds are coming in new colors.

As noted by Roland Quandt (via WinFuture), the search giant is relaunching the Google Pixel Buds A Series at Google I/O 2023 in a new blue color dubbed “Sky Blue.” The buds launched two years ago are said to come in a new color that complements the alleged Pixel 7a’s new blue, which we’ve already seen through several leaks and renders.

Moving on to the shared renders, the earphones are seen housed in the charging case, which will also appear blue internally, matching the “Sky Blue” earbuds.

This new version of the Pixel Buds A-Series from 2021 is said to cost the same as the current model at €99. WinFuture also notes that the new colorway will be available to customers shortly after the I/O event.

Like the Pixel A-series phones, the A-Series earphones are also watered down versions of Google’s Pro earbud models. However, we still found the Pixel Buds A-Series to be quite excellent in our review.

In addition, they came with valuable features such as strong connectivity, good sound quality, and Google Assistant that is always working next to real-time translation to help you when needed while wearing headphones. Most importantly, they were cost-effective and offered a great value compared to some of the best wireless earphones, despite omitting premium features like wireless charging support and active noise cancellation (ANC).

Although it was released two years ago, a new track could renew interest in earphones.

Google is also working on Pixel Buds Pro in a similar color. This is likely to match the Pixel 7a, which appears to have an “Arctic Blue” color option. We’ll likely see the new SKUs released at Google I/O, along with the new Pixels.March 1, 2023

Meanwhile, one of our trusted tipsters, Kuba Wojciechowski, notes that Google is also working on bringing a similar color to the Pixel Buds Pro, which will likely match the Pixel 7a “Arctic Blue”. Wojciechowski also notes that Google may offer these SKUs next to the new Pixel phones at I/O 2023.
