Although a fresh slate of new models was announced at CES 2023, it may take a while for any of them to arrive and get any big discounts. However, you don’t have to wait to get your hands on a midrange or high-end TV from LG, TCL, Hisense, or Amazon’s own Fire TV brand, as many flagship models from last year are currently selling for hundreds of dollars less than their original list price.

A 4K TV can deliver some impressive peak levels of brightness and delivers up to 120Hz for your gaming needs; It also supports HDMI 2.1 in two of its four ports. Plus it supports Google TV. It all originally started at $1,099.99, but the 55-inch model can now be had for $649.99 ($450 MSRP and $50 off the usual bargain price) at Amazon and Best Buy. Also, the 65-inch Hisense U8H retails for about $928 at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy.
While we haven’t officially reviewed the Hisense U8H, our TV reviewer, Chris Welch, liked it enough to buy one for himself, and if that’s not a real recommendation, I don’t know what is.

The 2022 model with a Roku interface (the S455 variant) offers four HDMI ports—one of which supports eARC for the optional soundbar. At the same time, the LED TV continues to support HDR10, all major streaming apps, and a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
Best Buy has the 55-inch TCL 4-Series (55S455) for $279.99, $40 off its regular price of $319.99. While the 4-Series may not have the most desirable specs or the highest-quality LED panel in the world, it’s hard to deny that a solid 55-inch TV for under $300 is a great value.
A 60Hz TV from TCL’s Class 4-Series includes HDR, a built-in Roku TV interface, and support for Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri.
The older 2021 Amazon Fire TV Omni, a precursor to the newer QLED version, is seeing some strong sales. Amazon is discounting the 55-inch Fire TV Omni to $469.99 ($80) while the 65-inch version is $599.99 ($160). Finally, the larger 75-inch model gets the biggest discount on Amazon, currently at $799.99 ($250 off).
