Samsung has updated its Expert RAW app, which brings Astrophoto mode to the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Fold4. It allows phone users to take long-exposure photos of the stars and constellations, but the quality of the photos depends on how clear the sky is and how much pollution is in your area.

Astrophoto mode is available for Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy S21 trio with Expert RAW version 2.0.09.1, which can be downloaded from Samsung Galaxy Store. However, S21 series users must first install the April 2023 security update to use Astrophoto mode. And if they haven’t received the update yet, they can check for it manually by going to their phone settings > system update menu.
