io9 spoke with Ferguson via email, who told us how it felt to see his art everywhere over the past few weeks. “It was absolutely incredible,” he said. “Being a part of that and seeing everyone excited and sharing their love for the movie was such a blast. The poster happened because Ferguson also worked with Lucasfilm and Disney a few years ago on a very similar project. “It came about because I made this art for my 40th anniversary The empire strikesFerguson Books. So it only makes sense that I would want to submit art for it serious also. Fortunately, the wonderful people at Disney and Lucasfilm brought me back.”
