May 2023 Android security patch is now available! If you own a recent Google Pixel smartphone, you can check for software update now in your system settings to get it. You can also update manually or simply wait for the OTA notification.
We expect the next big Pixel feature to drop in June. As such, this month’s update only brings the new security update and some bug fixes. However, one of them is pretty big: fixing a bug where the lock screen widgets overlapped the home screen widgets. You can see the full changelog here.
