You can also find promotions in the left-hand side menu. You may have to click more To reveal all folders and to expand a file categories From the list to view a file promotions Folder.

How to opt out of Gmail promotions
Companies are required to give you the option to opt out of their promotional emails by law. You’ll usually find the option to opt out of the email in the small print at the bottom, but it can take a few steps and a short redirect to the seller’s website. Gmail offers a faster and easier option.

Matt Horn/Android Authority
go to promotions Tab in your Gmail inbox, and open an email from the seller.
Next to the sender’s name, there will be the email address and then a link called unsubscribe. It’s small and gray in color, but you can click on it.
You’ll be shown the email address and asked if you’re sure you want to unsubscribe. He presses Sure. Your opt-out request will now be sent to the company. Keep in mind that it may take a few days for sellers to process these requests.
With this method or not, some scammers send emails that use the unsubscribe feature to confirm that the email account is legitimate. So the irony is that opting out of unknown companies can get you more spam. It is only safest to opt out of sellers that you know are legitimate and block emails from any other sender that you do not wish to receive.
