On Twitter today, Straczynski confirmed that he’s been quietly working on a file Babylon 5 animated film as part of his deal with Warner Bros. , partnered with Warner’s Animation and Home Entertainment division to create an entirely new story set in the show’s universe.
According to Straczynski, the movie is already complete and “100% happening,” and while details are being kept under wraps for now, it appears that unlike the new spin-off, this animated movie will be based on the stories and versions of characters seen in the original TV and movie runs. Babylon 5.
