We recently saw a leaked hands-on video of the Pixel Fold, however we continue to see more leaks, including the external and internal displays. This new leak comes from Evan Blass (Opens in a new tab) (@evleaks) and reveals what appear to be official marketing renders for Google’s upcoming foldable phone.
It should be noted that these images do not show anything that has not been leaked before, and there are some stones that have not been turned over, such as the upper and lower sides, as well as the height of the camera bump. The good news is that the Pixel Fold’s hinge appears to be relatively thinner than many foldable phones, if renderings are accurate.

For example, it looks like the Pixel Fold’s supposed 5.8-inch front panel will have a peak brightness of 1,550 nits and be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Meanwhile, the 7.6-inch inner display is said to have 1,450 nits of brightness and a plastic protective layer.

According to the leaker, the Pixel Fold is 79.5mm wide when folded and 158.7mm wide when opened. In terms of height, the phone may fall somewhere between the Find N2 and the Z Fold 4, coming in at 139.7mm.
There are some advantages to owning a wider foldable phone, including the ability to fit more content on screen at once and have two apps open side by side for multitasking.
These renders aren’t new, but they provide a clearer view of the Pixel Fold’s internal foldable display. Like previous leaks that have surfaced in recent months, the device’s display appears to have thick bezels, although that’s not a bad thing.
Although large bezels may not be considered a desirable feature in the design of modern smartphones, they provide a more comfortable grip when holding the phone with one hand. With a foldable phone, the screen can be quite large, making it difficult to hold it securely without accidentally touching the screen. Large edges can provide room for your fingers to grip the phone without accidentally touching the screen.
According to rumors, the Pixel Fold could be unveiled on May 10 at Google I/O 2023, and we hope to find out how true that is.
