if You watched Succession‘s Final episode and you find yourself wondering what hell Living + is and why Kendall (Jeremy Strong) is everyone who can live forever, you’re not alone.
Episode 6 of Succession Very interested in Roys advertising this new product in Annual investor meeting, with Kendall in charge of the formal introduction. This, of course, entails the typical amount of Kendall’s bloating, as well as inexplicable phrases like “improving integrated daily IP personal life.”
Kendall’s convoluted monologue aside, the easiest way to understand Living+ is to compare it to a production studio trying to get into real estate. Living + is basically if Disney decides to create their own branded gated communities, which – shock – She already has.
What is Living+?
A concept that Logan (Brian Cox) created and has been developing until his deathLiving + is Waystar’s real estate brand that aims to bring the cruise ship experience to land. This could mean that Waystar will start building gated communities around Waystar Studios (and ATN) expertise. We understand from Kendall’s speech that Living+ communities prioritize security and fun to create a safe haven for their residents.
But what does it all look like? Well, you can expect the Living+ community to enjoy beautiful homes, as well as built-in security systems, with its residents just a second away from enjoying all things Waystar. Living+ members have the luxury of interacting with Waystar’s finest film and TV personalities, not to mention advanced screenings of Waystar films and shows. Plus, Waystar Gardens will be right around the corner.
“Caliphate” Season 4, Episode 5: Why Did Some People Escape the “Kill List”?
To visualize this, we can compare Living+ to Disney’s Golden Oak(Opens in a new tab)a residential community located within the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, OR Disney Story(Opens in a new tab). At Golden Oak, Disney fans can live in large, affluent communities with access to the theme park, shopping center, and unparalleled Disney perks.
You may not see Mickey at Living + Park, but you will see the puppy Wistar mascot that Cousin Greg (Nicholas Brown) threw at SuccessionPilot episode (You Know the One).
living + diving in black mirror Earth thanks to Kendall.
While Logan’s original vision of Living+ is already pretty miserable, Kendall ramps it up tenfold when he introduces Living+Support.
Using Waystar’s ties to the high-tech and pharmaceutical industries, Kendall promises to offer residents + living with “privileged access to life-enhancing therapies.” This means anyone living in the Living+ community will have unparalleled access to the best doctors, therapists, and dermatologists—you name it. They’ll also have more affordable access to medication, with shipments of anything they need arriving right at their doorstep.
The “Big Four” in Health: What I Learned in America’s Most Advanced Doctors Office
Through Living + Support, Kendall promises that all residents in the Living + community can live longer and add years to their life thanks to Waystar. The whole idea of Living + and Living + Support seems like something we’d see in it a black mirror episodeif we haven’t already, it’s basically a community where everyone can bond over their love of Waystar, ATN, Logan Roy, and healthcare.
