Apple's leaked Beats Studio earphones provide the main Nothing Ear (2) cues

Apple’s next commercial Beats earbuds have been leaked, and they give us similar vibes to the recent launch from the London-based company, bar none.

The leaks come via a prematurely published listing for the Beats Studio Buds Plus on Amazon, which has already been removed (via The Verge). Although it has been made clear that the new Studio Buds Plus will retain a design close to the previous Beats Studio Buds, the new transparent look is reminiscent of the Nothing Ear (2).

The earbuds give a clear look at their inner workings, and they sound quite similar to Nothing’s latest version. The Beats Studio Buds Plus let it all show as the case follows the transparent design language as well. And the ear issue (2) is more visible than transparent in this regard. This translucent pattern is something nothing is completely known about, as it’s seen on a variety of earphones and handsets (1).

The removed page stated that the Studio Buds Plus will offer 36 hours of battery life, large microphones for improved sound quality, and four sets of ear tips. For comparison, the Nothing Ear (2) also boasts a 36-hour listening time, as long as you carry its charging case.

The Verge has managed to pull together a stronger ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) presence, an improved air vent, and an upgraded transparency mode. The Beats Studio Buds Plus are also detailed to support spatial audio as well.

With in-ear (2)-like features and design, we find ourselves in an interesting dynamic where none continues to try to make a name for itself, especially in North America. The company has launched a few products in the US, though it’s mainly just earbuds, while we wait for nothing to bring its next smartphone to the US.

The Beats Earbuds are listed for $169.95 on the Amazon page, which is slightly higher than the Ear (2)’s $149 price. It obviously doesn’t have an Apple chip, which means that many of the features may also be available for Android phones as well.

Finally, the Apple-owned company will apparently present its next iteration of the Buds, in black and white. However, it is not clear when these new earphones will be announced, but the Beats Studio Buds remain some of our favorite wireless earbuds, so we can’t wait to see what we get.
